Is my file encrypted?

Yes. Every file is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only someone with the private link — and the passphrase, if you set one — can open it.

What happens when a transfer expires?

The link stops working and the file is permanently deleted from our storage. Free transfers last up to 3 days; Starter extends that to 7.

How large a file can I send?

Up to 100 MB per file. Your plan's monthly volume — 1 GB on Free, 10 GB on Starter — covers everything you send and receive.

Does the recipient need an account?

No. They get an email with a secure link and download straight from the browser — no sign-up, no app.
